There are many great residential subdivisions in town, offering safety and a real sense of community. Family is important in Carstairs. Check out the many programs we offer young families. Our recreation facilities include soccer fields, tennis courts, arena and curling rink, as well as a splash park now in the planning stages. The campground is simply beautiful, and features a replica grain elevator with many historical items on exhibit.

On occasion the Town of Carstairs has openings for employment. All are posted on this website and through local media including the Carstairs Courier. Summer student employment postings are generally advertised in April/May. The Town of Carstairs is currently looking for a Library Manager.
